These terms govern your use of Folded, a service operated by Folded Labs Private Limited (“Folded”, “we”, “our”, “us”), a company registered in India. If you sign up, you agree to them — the contract is between you and Folded Labs Private Limited. If something here is unclear, email support@foldedpos.com before you sign up.
Who can use Folded
Folded is a business service for laundry and dry-cleaning shop owners. To use it you must be at least 18, run a real shop, and have legal authority to enter contracts on behalf of that shop.
Your account
You can sign in with an email address and password or with your Google account. You are responsible for what happens under your account and for the people you invite to your shop. Give each person their own login, and tell us promptly if you think an account has been misused.
What we provide
- The Folded software: the owner dashboard and point of sale on the web, and mobile apps for a shop's customers and riders.
- Connections to the payment and messaging providers you choose to use.
- Support by email during business hours.
What we do NOT provide
- Payment-gateway services. To take online payments from your customers you connect your own Razorpay or Cashfree account. The money moves between your customer and your gateway; we never hold your funds.
- Legal or tax advice. We help you produce invoices and reports; we don't file your taxes.
- Hardware. We recommend printers and scanners; you buy and maintain them.
Payments to Folded
New shops get a 30-day free trial. After that, Folded is sold as plans — Starter, Pro and Premium — each of which includes a year of orders. Current prices, and what each plan includes, are on our pricing page; the price you pay is the one shown when you buy. Applicable taxes, such as GST, are added where the law requires.
Payments are processed by our payment partner, Dodo Payments. We do not see or store your card details.
If your plan ends or your included orders run out, we will let you know in the product. Your data stays available to you so you can renew or export it.
Your data
Your shop's business data — customers, orders, garments, catalogue — is yours. We process it on your behalf and only to provide the service. You can export your orders, customers and services at any time as CSV or Excel files. We can't and won't sell it. How we handle personal data is described in our privacy policy.
You are responsible for having the right to collect the personal data of your own customers and staff, and for the messages you send them through Folded.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use Folded for illegal activity.
- Send your customers messages they have not agreed to receive.
- Share your account credentials. Each operator gets their own login.
- Reverse-engineer the service, or attempt to reach another shop's data.
Liability
Folded is provided “as is.” We work hard to keep it running and your data safe, but we can't guarantee that it will never be interrupted or free of errors. To the extent the law allows, our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period, and we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits.
Termination
You can stop using Folded at any time. To close your account, email support@foldedpos.com; we keep your data available for export for 30 days after closure and then delete it, except records the law requires us to keep.
We can suspend or close accounts that break these terms or that present a security or legal risk. We'll give at least 30 days' notice except in cases of clear abuse or where the law requires us to act sooner.
Changes
If we change these terms materially, we'll email you at least 30 days before they take effect.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Chandigarh have jurisdiction over any dispute, unless we both agree to arbitration.
